At 98 Bottles, we pride ourselves on bringing a professional and personal touch to every event. We know how hard it is to plan a party so we work really hard to make your job as easy as possible. This is our home and when you are here, we want to make you feel like it’s your home too. In an age of growing technology that separates us from one another (at the same time it brings us together) we relish every opportunity to get people unplugged, out of their house and into the moment! Your party may be our next opportunity.
What Fits
Our split level venue provides several options for celebrations of all kinds. The Back Room, our intimate event & entertainment venue can accommodate up to 150 people depending on room set up and style of service. It’s perfect for mixers, fund raising events, seated dinners, buffets, meetings & presentations, film screenings, fashion shows, live music events, popup galleries, mini-trade shows and more.
For semi-private events we have the Upper Bar. This space is great for smaller gatherings of 20-35 people for birthday, engagement or anniversary parties, wine and beer tastings and other intimate events. Where else can you rent your own bar within a bar?
Another option is renting our entire venue for reunions, weddings, trade shows and any other blow-out celebration you are planning. Entire venue rentals are available for up to 216 guests.
Location
98 Bottles is in the hip Northern Little Italy Art & Design District, conveniently located just off I-5 South, minutes from the San Diego Airport, Convention Center, San Diego Zoo, Old Town, SeaWorld & Petco Park. It’s easy to get here from all major freeways and there is ample street parking that is free after 6PM. Garage parking is available at the end of the block; self-park is $9 for 24 hours.

Rates/Fees
We want to give you the biggest bang for your buck, so we do not charge room rental rates (unless you choose to work with an outside food vendor). Instead, we have simple food and beverage minimums. And to make it as easy as possible for you to meet those minimums, what you host AND what your guests purchase all counts toward your minimum. We also won’t charge you extra for the stuff we have that you might want to use (see above for detailed list).
